Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Handozo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.

2. Description of Service

Handozo is a client onboarding platform that allows freelancers and agencies to create branded onboarding portals ("Kits") for their clients. The Service includes kit creation, intake form collection, payment processing via Stripe, project timeline management, and analytics.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription & Billing

Handozo offers paid subscription plans billed monthly. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

5. Payment Processing

Deposit collection is processed through Stripe. Handozo charges a 0.5% platform fee on each deposit transaction, in addition to Stripe's standard processing fees. Funds are routed directly to your connected Stripe account. Handozo does not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment information - all payment data is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) send spam or unsolicited communications; (c) impersonate any person or entity; (d) upload malicious code or content; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts; (f) use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on Handozo, including kit configurations, branding assets, and text content. You grant Handozo a limited license to host, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership over your content and will not use it for purposes unrelated to the Service.

8. Client Data

When your clients interact with your kits, their responses and interaction data are stored on your behalf. You are the data controller for your clients' information and are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws regarding the data you collect through the Service.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination by contacting support. We will delete your data within 30 days of account termination unless required by law to retain it.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Handozo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
